Ondine Bradbury
Ondine Bradbury is currently in the role of a Lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology. She has over a decade of experience in mainstream classrooms and has held both professional and academic roles in the professional experience space in two Victorian universities. Ondine was a Senior Project Manager in the Teacher Education Reform Unit at the Victorian Department of Education and Training, overseeing an initiative focused on strengthening school-university partnerships. She is on the Executive Board for NAFEA as the Research and Project Manager where she assists in the Research and Project Grant process. Ondine holds a strong desire to connect teaching and learning communities, and to build and grow collaborative networks across a range of educational settings.
Dr. Ricky Tunny
Dr. Ricky Tunny has undertaken both academic and professional roles in the area of work-integrated learning at QUT, including Senior Lecturer, WIL and Manager, WIL in the Faculty of Health at QUT. Ricky has supported and managed faculty-wide policies and practices of WIL for over 10 years. He is the current President of the National Association of Field Experience Administrators (NAFEA). As President of NAFEA, he has implemented several schemes over the past seven years, including a rural placement scholarship program, professional development program, project/research funding program and a scheme to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of WIL administrators. Ricky has research interests in key issues for WIL such as equity, inclusion and access to WIL for all students, quality assurance, interprofessional experience, rural, regional and remote WIL and risk management of WIL.
Sheree Lloyd
Sheree brings to the Board experience in both academia and industry. A Fellow of the Australiasian College of Health Service Managers, certified Health Information Manager and member of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health and Health Information Management Association of Australia where I have actively participated in events, governance and leadership over more than 30 years.
A graduate of Queensland University of Technology, Griffith University and Cumberland College of Health Sciences Sheree has a Bachelor of Business, Associate Diploma in Health Information Management, Diploma in Government, Diploma in Project Management, Masters in Technology and PhD that focussed on innovation and high performance in rural health settings.
A mother, health information manager, teacher and project manager with over 30 years experience in academic and health service management roles I am passionate about learning from others and integrating evidence based approaches to support student learning. My current role at Griffith University is as the Academic Convenor for Work Integrated Learning for Health Services Management and working with adult and diverse learners.
Dr. Judith Needham
Judith Needham is a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Clinical Placement Office in the School of Nursing and Midwifery for Griffith University. Judith has supported and managed clinical placements (WIL) for nursing for over 10 years, and has held leadership positions including nurse unit manager, hospital after hours coordinator and nurse educator during her career. Judith’s nursing experience spans more than three (3) decades with extensive practice background in acute care both adult and neonatal, intensive care, perioperative and rural health. Judith has a Bachelor of Nursing, Master of Nursing (Management) and a Doctor of Education. Judith is Chair of the National Network of Clinical Coordinators.
Matthew Winslade
Matt Winslade is the Sub-Dean, Workplace Learning for the Faculty of Arts and Education. Matt has a strong educational background with over twenty years of teaching experience in the HPE field. Prior to moving into the tertiary sector he was both a Head Teacher in the state system and a Director of Sport in the Association of Independent schools. Matt has been awarded an Australian Council of Deans of Education award through the Australian Association for Research in Education and has received a university citation for outstanding contribution to student learning. Matt's doctoral research examined the changing nature of Health and Physical Education in Australian schools. His current research activities include evaluating school - university partnerships in relation to profession experience and school based health and physical activity programs. Matt also has a strong interest in exploring the development of inter-cultural competency in pre-service teachers and created an international outreach program in Samoa to support this interest. Matt has authored three books and in 2018 his joint publication titled Teaching Quality Health and Physical Education designed to support both teacher education students and in-service teachers was awarded Best Tertiary Teaching and Learning Resource at the Australian Educational Publishing Awards, the second edition is due for release in 2020.
